After trying to get into the command box in windows vista ultimate

I've ran into an error, the command box closes everytime I hit enter

after typing in a command. The command I'm running is:

netsh int tcp set global ?

to try an find out the settings for the auto-tuning.

Anyone no how to fix this?

I have an old linksys 2.4Ghz Wireless B router, that I want to use to power a network.

I'm running windows vista ultimate and I can no seem to do it correctly.

Can someone please help me with configuring this network!

It didn't get better clear your cache, and retest. Thats just the saved filefragments on your cache in your internet browser. 

Yeah it's sad, but I'll wait another friggen month or so, until enough people have vista that they find out how to tweak it.

It's pretty lame, and I know, noone has found a tweak for speed in vista.

But only 13.7Mbps on a 15mbps connection. It's pissing me off.

nVidia's Gigabit ethernet was a failure at laiunch there update disables the gigabit feature and relaxes it back to regular 100mbps 10mbps connection

Try moving you're computer closer to your wireless router to get a better signal, Objects like tv's with antenna's have been known to disrupt wireless signals. Although you could just buy a new antenna for the wireless router, or get a cable and direct connection for maxim speed. But if you're stealing the cable, I recommend not talking about you're connection ;]

They don't do anything special. They're there incase someone is tapping you're channel and stealing your internet, or if you have multiple wireless channels throughout your house. They're just like the flash button on your telephone. 

I was thinking put the motherboard in it also to make it look more realistic?

Easy download tweak for nForce 680i SLI / LT Motherboards

Get into network properties:

- Start > Connection / Network > Click "View Status" Of your connection > Click Properties

          > Click Configure > Click "Advanced" Tab > Click "Jumbo Packet"

          > Edit with "100000000" > Hit okay, Connection will reconnect with the setting typed in.

Should max out your download rate at 1333 kbp/s

- NOTE: All nVidia nForce motherboard will not go any higher than 8 Zeros.
