they dont cap boost anymore and some people even reported uploading 1 terabyte in a month and that would cap anyone if there was one. not 1 person reported getting capped yet with boost so i wouldnt worry much unless you upload terabytes a month cause people reported uploading about a terabyte and have not gotten capped yet. also i pay $45 a month for boost and to go from $45 to $200 a month for Ultra isnt a good deal unless you own a business.
i'll just wait cause i dont want to waste money on something that i'm not gonna use later and put that extra money into the new pc i want. i'm planning on building a beast whe ut 2007 comes out and its probably gonna be a quad core or even a dual quad core if the price is right.
i thought that might be a problem the cheaper 1 that i got was $276 for 2.8 ghz P4 with HT, 800 FSB and it came with 1 gig dual channel ddr2 ram(PC-5300) and intel gigabit ethernet and pci express. cant beat that for the price even if you built it
they are dell servers that i use for desktops but they stopped selling them because everyone started using them as desktops because they were so cheap and i bought them a few years ago
i'm gonna wait a month or so cause in my area OOL is comin out with a 50/50 service so i wonder what verizon is gonna do. maybe 50/50 also or even higher 50/100. who knows but everytime one upgrades the other comes back with something else so something is gonna go higher because in the last year i went from 10/1 to 15/2 to 30/2 and again to 30/5 just because of them fighting it out for speed.
the reason i think its not a speed upgrade is because they arent even close to giving out there 16/1 service yet so why another upgrade if they cant even finish that 1
i read alot about it also but its not supposed to be like that it is powerboost but some users get it all the time. if it was something else the ISP would say something about a new package or some people would be beta testing it but there isnt. anyway we'll see what happens down the road and again enjoy it
