just messing around with different internet connections and networking (wired and wireless) to see what can and cant be done.  right now i have 3 isp's and all are different services. 

Covad                  SDSL  1500/1500 $280

Speakeasy            ADSL  768/6000  $100

Optimum Online    Cable    1000/10000 $30  <<gonna upgrade to 2000/20000 also i have the other services with optimum so its cheaper than normal

the lowest ever that i got it was 43.5 mb ram and 13 processes with 0% cpu.  that had nothing on it on a fresh install

What kinda upload does that got

i've been getting above 950 kb upload every test so far and even hit 980kb which is 20 kb away from my cap.  the fastest i hit download so far was 9600 kb but i still have to tweak it cause its been 1 day since i had it.

How in the world can you get yours down to 84 MB? My god! With almost every program closed, I can only get...

Btw, what is a System Idle Process? *feels silly asking* And why does it suck CPU like a vampire?

does anyone have kerio personal firewall and know how to configure the web filtering for websites cause i entered testmy.net into it and allow all access to and from the site but cant get a speed test to work.  it always gets messed up and says way more than i know i have and i have been here a while so my cache is cleared and have done everything to make it work right but it only works when its off. 

regular i get about 5200 down and this is what i get with the web filtering on.  any help is great

yea right you joking.  i get 695 kB a sec from there and there is no way in hell any dsl will ever do that.  what speed did you get from there

well i'm in nyc and cant get it yet and this is basically the biggest city in the us but its only here in non-populated area's out on long island and some other parts.  i can get a crapload of dsl services, T-1 and i can also get a T-3 or OC-3 to my door but cant get fios, thats weird.

No , i saw his fastest downlaod and it was about 1229 Kbps down and that has to be a 1.5 line, Cuz your not getting over the 1.1 unless you live in the C.o basically.

you usually cant get over your cap on dsl cause it is limited by line quality and distance.  you might get very close to cap on lower speeds but the higher you go the more you lose.

i just wanna see someone get shut up for talking bs a being and liar.  also a T-3 cost $2500 a month here

i could only get about 4,500KB a sec with aim but on ftp on lan i get about 24,000KB a sec
