Nah you got the 6/384 , they all got upgraded from 4/384 , aqlso nice speed fot having 6 meg cap.

I mean , i was looking on websites for fun, and the standard installation of a t1 is around 30-45 days and was wondering how hard it is to tell the phone company to lay the line and then set it all up?

There is no way that cs would take up 4.1 meg up, i have hosted on a game similiar to cs (ENEMY TERRITORY) and i did a 10 man on 384 up with no max rate cap and no limit to pings. I think that a 50 man might take up 2.1 max upload being no lag as well.

What kind of connection were you running all that stuff off of? And would a t1 be enough for a 50 man in Counter strike?

What game is it and what kind of connection is it running off of? Do you have a business running off it ?

That is probably the dummest thing i ever heard , do you know anything about dsl or why they are limiting you to these speeds? It all depends on your distance form the C.o as to what speeds you can get moron , if you want to pay what ever you want for as much as you need then get a t1, lol you prolly don't know anything about the prices of faster dsl do you? Pal satelite is crap if you want to do any hosting or even playiing . i mean come on man you have to go outside the world to get a signal and imagine your pings and hops , lol satelite is bad for gaming.Get an sdsl line or dsl if you really want to host and get consistent speeds if your close to c.o

I doubt it , that game doesn't require 2 meg up to do 32 , i would say that a 32 and a 20 would max it out and i have ran a 12 man in cs with 384 up from cable with pings all under 150.

Like what kind of things are you running off that 2 meg upload.? Game servers and if so then how many can you hold, lets just guess if you never maxed out before.

Yes that may look like a good package and deal but the transfer rate is not unlimited and according to comcast opinion , if you are abusing the line or affecting the connections of others in your area they will just cap you if lets say your running a game server or any thing that requires high transfer reates all the time.

WTF is that company doing charging that much for less an dial up, i would ditch that if i was you. ALos where do u live that offers that crap?

I have heard that if you want to run a game server or whatever, that you need the business package. WIll they limit your bandwidth usage each month and if yes then why offer the high speeds if you can't use it all the time. If there is a limit then please post.

Ya and like they said above that you can do what ever you want with it and its dedicated meaning no one is going to be sucking up all the download on the node and the sla is great to.
