i feel your pain wmmc. i live 20 miles west from fortworth there aint nothiing out here but dial-up satellite, or t-1. I am happy with satelittle. i just wish the upload was better.

My firefox is running fine now after i cleared the cache. I dont have trouble loading pics. This just started like a week ago when i was trying to download a driver. I had to use firefox to download it. Right now im trying to get that error message again. I think it said "not an 32bit app" something like that. I ran Spybot, i did a virus scan. I even reset my browser settings. I download fine using firefox, but that browser runs extreamly slow. It used to run fast, and now it takes for ever to load a page?

When evenever I download something from any website. it says download complet, but it didnt download anything? all it says is 0 bytes. if i click on it it give me an error message. something about a not a 32Bit appication i think? hey atomikzz i got a question. i know alittle about networking and i was wanting to know is. Im going to network 2 other computers to mine. mine Win Xp home, the two others Win xp pro, and 98 sec. I am going to share the internet connection, and i was wanting to know what will be the cheapest yah to network.

I have before network 2 other computers to mine when i got direcway, and never had a problem. Well ofcourse i never seen the same speed that mine computer that had the recevers pluged in to. I still the max i seen on another computer was alittle over 100Kbs. I was running regular Cat5 Cable and a 10/100 hub. my computer had the realteck network card, and the other computer had the Dlink cards. my computer is running Windows XP home, and the other two computers were running Windows ME. Oh God i love Me I had more problem out of the os than the internet. lol Maybe this will help you. and good luck

I ran mozilla firebox on my computer and it ran slower than IE. I had Mozilla tweaked out, and still ran the same. Ive never had any trouble out of direcway. Besides my upload it sucks really bad

That is a very low? There is something very wrong. I can probuly figure out your problem. Ok i understand you are using the two way recivers usb. Tell me allittle more detail about you setup. Whats your signal strenght? Software Version? What type of Cable You using? Have you use the recivers on another computer? my upload is slower than hell. I was on the phone with direcway for 2 hours yesterday to get a 2KB/s faster upload. I hit 8KB/s yesterday. Are you using the two way receiver or the new DW6000? :::.. That is pretty slow atomikzz. I have the two way recivers. The only tweak i have on here is Generic Registry patch. I only seen alittle difference. hey yall im having a problem, and i cant figure it out. On my Internet explorer when im at a site, and i click on a link and a new window opens. The page wont load? I haft to click stop then refresh to load? I notice to when i do windows updates the download box stays on preparing to download and that it. I ran spybot, defrag harddrive. and alote of other stuff.
