i know for shur it works theres time i download like a 200mg file and it stops at 170. all i do is unplug my usb cable for about 15-20 sec and plug it back in and bam got to downloading again Foreveryone that uses the DW4000 dont beaftaid to use this trick. hell for paying 60 bucks a month you should able to use all the bandwith that you want!

Well i know a way around the Fap on the DW4000 recivers. Just unplug the usb cable on the modem, wait like 15 sec then plug it back in and thats it. it suppost to reset the fap. It works for me.

What sat you on? signal streghth isnt going to effect download speeds. Theres been alot of issues with the DW6000 recivers. thank god i didnt upgrade. My sat signal 70 max right now siting on 69

you must be certified to point dw dish, unless you know how to. usually cost around 100 to repoint it. yah its outragous. ill call around

signal strenght is going to be the factor. but that is low i would reconment geting it repointed. are you using the DW6000 or DW4000

the only tweak im running is the Tcp optimizer and thats it. I almost upgraded to the DW6000 im glad that i didnt. The speeds i post are real pcpitstop is give me the same results. i have home service.
