they are great with kids. i would prefer waiting til my kids are around 5-7 yrs than i can get a pit puppy. that way once that pitbull grows up getting her ears and tail picked on everyday by my kids she will know they are all playing and guess what, she will be VERY protective. do you understand what i mean? having my pit was like my daughter always took her out with me everywhere i go. but now my kids comes 1st. i didnt want my pit to feel unhappy with me not playing or taking her out the way i used to. so i gave her to the person i trust that always love her,my sis.

gave my pitbull away for my kids safety, and now got a sheltie. in that pic the sheltie is 2 months
