im having trouble with the latency... i tried pinging 10.0.0.1 and it was fine (never exceeded 10ms) but when i was surfed the web while pinging, the values would go way above about 500-2500ms... then after a page loads the latency would come back to its normal values. the same was observed with other sites. also i found out through tcp/ip analyzer of speedguide.net that my mtu is only 500+ something. im not behind a proxy and i tried every tweak i can find on the net just to increase it but nothing worked. HELP PLZ!!!!

yeah that's what ive read from another forum... it only works when the canopy address is set to default.

this is what ive done to restore my connection: 1. uninstall that quickfix 2.0 crap 2. manually set my IP to 169.254.1.2 then subnet mask to 255.255.0.0 3. now that i can access the canopy again, i checked (general tab)both the 100 full and half duplex link speeds, enabled 2X rate, and changed the network accessibility(IP tab) to local. This can all be found on the configurations page. 4. save changes then reboot. well im no expert i just based the settings on screenshots of canopy settings. can someone here post their canopy settings?

i experienced the same thing few days ago... i think the quick fix might have caused it. might as well uninstall it...

im subscribed to Smart BRO w/c uses the fixed wireless technology of motorola canopy here in the philippines... advertised speed is 384kbps at 999pesos per month...thats about US$20. upload speed is almost the same as download speed. :::..
