I have tried most things and I've done cablenut and sat on the adjustments for a few days but with very little effect.

Having used dial up for years, I was amazed by ADSL connections, now I want faster, some people are never happy 

I dream of a 20/10 connection, I think I'll move to Amsterdam

i recently found out i had been using uncapped ADSL for the past yr and a half they brought me a new modem and now i get 1.5/256 i called them and asked if there was anything i could do to have my upload increased because 25KB/s isn't much when you split that between 4 computers its roughly 6.25KB/s try playing FPS games with that they told me the next package up is uncapped and is $92 a month i laughed and hung up

i have a 160GB WD 7200 RPM 8MB Cache im currently running it partition'd 110GB for WinXP

20GB for Win98 and i have Fedora Core installed on an additional 20GB Partition

lol nah look host vsk.com fios is verizon.. thats a 100/10 mbit line

actually i attempted to beat that but the lowest i could get was 1k/s

i was talking to my dad earlier today and he shared his point of view... he said that the artists and record companys are really mad about the royalty money they're losing... they're suppose to get paid like 4 cents a play or something like that... at least i think thats how it works with radio stations... anyways when you dont own the cd and ur listening to the songs the artist is really losing 4 cents a play...

i browse the net with ActiveX Java and anything with the <script> tags blocked unless the site is on my allow list.. for example testmy.net

70% of the time i download music i buy the cd afterwards

depends on which type of files your burning

if your burning songs you can have up to 80 minutes of songs that are playable via cd player or dvd player... if your just burning files id burn them to dvds because dvds can hold a lot more media also if your just burning files they'd only be playable by a pc
