before i installed cablenut i did a tcp/ip test and my ttl was 118 after instal it goes down to 34 sometimes a little higher but not much. Is this normal?

what do you mean when you say splitter? did you replace the splitter on the outside of your house? im in las vegas and i have bad problems as well

yeah buddy cox sucks here. i have the 5mb service and the best i can get is about 3 megs and that is less then 1/4 of teh time. most of the time i test from 900 - 2200kbps . i wish we had other options available

well ande verything else for that matter. Our options here are cox and sprint dsl. Cox only offers 5MB/384 service and thats $50 a month. Seems like everyone else on fiosand otehr ISP have faster speeds for the same price or cheaper. You would figure i a stupid city like this they would roll it out first. oh well im just venting

hey van i did some reading and did some tests that were recomended and i cam up with this. Could this be a prob?

im currently using one of your cable nut setting van, and i think that kind of helped a bit.

are these normal? i dont have a problem with the upload speed becasue cox only rates it at 384 but my dl speeds are pretty bad.
