a MTU of 1480 is most common used on PPPoE dsl with win XP and no router you dont need to change MTU at all, Path MTU detection is enabled by default delete all tweaks you used, in Dr:TCP clear out any value in MTU field and click save. do the changes i suggested in previous post, leave all other settings as default click save reboot VanBuren

what you can try to do is enable timestamping download Dr.TCP http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP021.exe open it set Tcp Recive Window to 28800 and enable Timestamping and click apply reboot your pc VanBuren
