  1. hey CompMan and welcome to the forum its very rare to go above cap upstream you need to add TCP overhead of around 10% on your score so a 450 Kbps score is around 450x1,1 = 495 Kbps and thats very close to the cap be happy, you wont go faster then this btw i checked your scores, you hit 497 Kbps once, then add 10 % and your above the cap VanBuren

  12. yea, i wont be able to help all But im sure alot of ppl following the posts in Make it faster forum, and learned what to check and how to setup diffrent connections I also made 6 diffrent Cablenut versions, so if one version dosent help, try another you can also build your own cablenut files on j79zlr

  17. hey ampz usally it is modem / router that messing up speed, if your ISP claim your line is fine. also some NIC have problem with duplex mode if you connect direct to modem, i suggest 10 Mbps half duplex, you can also try 100 Mbps half duplex but if your connecting via a router, then always use 100 Mbps full duplex If you bypass and connect direct to modem, you will know if its the router or not VanBuren
  18. hey Phoenix and welcome to the forum set your NIC to 100 Mbps full duplex download Dr.Tcp http://www.dslreports.com/front/DRTCP021.exe make sure all fields is blank, if you see a value, use delete key and erase them, also make sure all other settings is set to default, now click save and exit now open cablenut, click delete cablenut tweaks and click save to registry and reboot make a new speedtest and also a tweaktest http://www.dslreports.com/tweaks when you see result, copy whole URL adress and paste it here VanBuren

  20. your ISP can change back if it dosent work well, it will only take a few minutes VanBuren
  21. your ISP have to check your signals, if you live far away from CO and/ or the quality of copper line is bad, your modem will loose sync if you not using Interleaved mode. that cause packetloss to your first hop and disconnections. VanBuren
  22. yea that trace looks normal for a interleaved dsl service like verizon.net has. your first hop ping is 24 ms, thats due to error correction, some ISP
