so i just wanted to throw this out there, i really LOL at hughesnet internet, #1 is sucks and #2 its FAP is some real BS #3 its almost slower than 46kbps DIAL UP and its running at 600-800kbps. so yeah just wanted to say LOL. thanks.

ok, so my friend has 1.5mb dsl from qwest. i have a netgear router and a wireless pc card. there is going to be 2 computers using the internet, 1 threw the ethernet cable and the other 1 wireless. so i plug in the router, plug the internet cord from the dsl modem into the router , then from the router the number 1 ethern. plug in... i put that into the computer. but when i do that its connected, but i dont get internet.... what am i doing wrong??

hey my friend has 3mb dsl and wants to know if he can go from 2.4mb to his closer to 3mb adverstised speed.

might be saying bye bye to 56k... ive searched around looking for highspeed and it says Comcast provides high speed at my location.. if i were to get CHSI it would be 4mb/384Kb

good idea... isdn fees: 220$ to turn on the isdn line 12.50$ a month for line activity and 30$ ISP charge... Bonded dial up fees: 2 phone line amonth 25$ amonth already have modems that will do bonded dial up( agere modem and conexant modem) usual speeds on these modems doing bonded is: 48k 50.4k rare speeds: 52.8k i dont know...isdn sounds good but little expensive... 128k for 40-45$ a month is a lil spendy EDIT: bonded dial up speed test right now(48.0k) :::..
