ideas? should we get 1 more phone line so we can have 2 phone lines for bonded dial up and 1 line for the phone.. or go with the ISDN...?

bonded dial up is like two 64k isdn channels they combine them together but the difference is what "bonded dial up" to me is : 2 Modems + 2 Phone Lines = Doubled dial up speed... my speeds kinda suck when doubled up Most often bonded dial up speeds: 48.0k and 50.4k Least often bonded dial up speeds: 52.8k my lines suck so bad if im lucky i can get 26.4k on 1 line and 26.4k on another line to make it 52.8k but most of the time i get 24.0k and 26.4kbps which is only 50.4k.... it isnt that fast if u think about it... compared to good phone lines anyways are there tests i can have my phone company do to check and see if the wires are bad? i think we have cat 5 in the house but.. im not sure

why do u think it doesnt load the SENSOR part? it just goes gray...

if i cant get DSL or Cable... and dont wanna pay alot for Sat. should i get 128k ISDN? it would be slow but faster than my 26.4k connections

nice... when i do bonded dial up i get a strong 52.8kbps connection dl speed 5.7kb/s-7.4kb/s its pretty nice

im pluged into the phone box and only at 24k... my phone lines suck ass

my friend didnt plug his 56k cord into an outlet... he stuck it straight into the phone box and he was getting speeds like 54k ... is this possible?

the problem is...his Norton Internet Security Wont Uninstall... anytips? (ive tried to uninstall it... but it wont...it says: A Norton internet security account supervisor access MUST be logged in to Uninstall this Product)

Ok guys... Here is the Problem with my Brothers computer(Dell Dimension 4500 running Windows XP) His norton Anti virus expired... and he didnt have a Firewall so i downloaded SYGATE(I heard it was a good FW)anyways after i dl'ed it.. i clicked it and was ready to install it... right when i clicked it.. it said error...so i deleted it(Note: SYGATE didnt install so i couldnt have put the Internet on a lock)after i deleted it.. i got off the internet for about 10-15 mins.. then i went back on and it wouldnt let me surf the web... download anything... or go on AIM...so thats when i started getting lost...because I didnt know how this happened i know enough about computers not to mess with the registry or System32 Files(I learned that lesson when i first got my computer:P)

something weired... when i click system restore... or try and open the control panel nothin happens? what could be making this so they dont work?
