my screens resalution is only 1680 X 1050 if that makes a difference.

Coknuck, that powercolor card must get really hot. that cooling systems is huge. It will fit in my case becuase my case is big.

I'm planning a video sometime. and i need some help picking one out. I have no idea what to look for. I want a good one but i also want to be cheap maybe around $100, but willing to go more if i think its worth it.

I want to be able to play games like Doom 3 and starcraft 1 & 2 with fairly good quality. I just bought a 22" LCD Hann-G monitor. so i should be able to get pretty good quality.

i got a few things. Im not going to go out and buy a 200 dollar program. Maybe if they lower the prices i would.

I know that you can use a receiver useing optical or rca inputs but i dont have anything that has that. I hope in the future i can get a large sorround sound system.

coknuck, i dont think those are what im looking for. I kinda need a receiver, but i dont want to spend very much money. If i did get one i would just use my optical output.

How can i connect speakers to my line out jack? I thought i could use a headphone jack and splice into that to connect it. It works but its very quiet.

I was looking around and some people were saying that you need a amplifier for it, becuase the line out only put out like .5 watts.

I upgraded to maxthon 2 and i am having trouble with the ad blocker. Its just not blocking any ads. I've noticed that most of them are ads by google. all the blockers are enabled.

I found TMN about a year ago when i first got a dsl connection and i was looking to check my speed's because i thought it was downloading slow. I found out that i was running at normal speeds for my location. I've learned a lot from TMN since then.

I have a 2.7 gig divx video file that i want to put onto a dvd. I have searched though other forums on burning dvds but that didn't really help me much.  I have used dvd shrink before, it works great (really slow for me) but i don't need to shrink this file down.

Is there a free easy program that burns divx files?

Are you using DVD-RW or DVD-R? I believe the ps2 will only read DVD-R's. It also could be that it cannot play a AVI file.

I just got done recovering my laptop and everything is still there. now i got all this extra crap to delete, but i did fix the problem.

I heard there was one. I found one but it was cencored. I'm not even sure if it was her. i don't even know what she looks like.

The only thing that i don't like about PS3 is that the updates take a long time, and for some reason my ps3 keeps locking up on me.

I dont have a disk. I started it up again and i pressed something and it went to my pc recovery screen.

Ok, heres the story.

Last night i was doing something on the internet, when i came along this page that said i needed to update my video codecs to go this this site. well i clicked ok. so it started to install, then im think this ain't right to I closed it thinking it was some virus or something. No today i went on my laptop and then a window popped up said that something was wrong.

So i decided that i would just reset my laptop back a couple days. while in the process of doing that i screwed up somehow. I went to PC recovery and started to go though that. and when it started to back up my file i decided not to do that yet to i shut done my computer to stop it(thinking that nothing would happen).

Now when i try to start my laptop it tells me this:

"Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:

<windows root>/system32/hal.dll.

Please re-install a copy of the above file."

What did i do? and how can i fix it?

I am very happy with my PS3. Current;y i only have Resistance and nascar 08. There both really sweet games. expectally using the sixaxis controller when playing nascar.

I can't wait to get heavenly sword, and for NFS and "ratchet and clank" to come out for it.

I've tried eveything i can think of and my sound still doesn't work. I've tried to delete and reinstall my realtek audio, but it wont let me uninstall it. I've tried downloading the driver for it but that will not install.

I went to the bios screen but could not find anything to do with sound. I need some more info about that, becuase i kinda didn't know what anything meant.
