  4. really u actuallly get $$ from taking those surveys,  i thot those were just scams

Some of them are real, Suveryspot, Gozing, just to name a couple. Any site that asks you to refer people to get money, be more careful with.

  5. thanks

i'm not sure what level my moniter supports. r there any websites where i'll be able to test the refresh rate.

also i understand  the screen flicker is reduced but what does this actualy equal/mean.

Make sure "Hide modes this montior cannot display" is checked. Then you don't have to worry about incompatible modes.

  6. Verizon Upgrades Tri-State FIOS Bandwidth

Verizon said Monday that it has increased the speed of its fibre-optic (FiOS) service to homes in the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut states without raisng the price.

    ...

in practice, what this will mean is that customers who currently have purchased 5 Mbits/s downstream and 2 Mbits/s upstream FiOS service from Verizon will be upgraded to 10-Mbits down/ 2-Mbits up, for the current price of $34.95 per month for one year or $39.95 per month without a commitment. Those that already have subscribed for a 15-Mbit down/ 2-Mbit up connection will be upgraded to a 20-Mbit down/2-Mbit upstream connection for $44.95 per month, with an 1-year commitment, or $49.95 on a month-to-month basis. The 30-Mbit premium tier was left untouched, in bot performance and price.

    I want my FIOS! :angry3:
