With WinFax and FaxTalk, can I use my headset connected to the pc to talk using the phone line and make local calls?

Nope, Skype is a VOIP service. I am looking for a non-VOIP software where you use the headset or speakers and mic of the pc to talk over the phone line. No internet connection needed. Just the regular telephone line via a Voice Modem

Yeah, anybody know how to configure this? I keep on getting errors in my bit torrent client saying i have a NAT problem. Any ideas?

Cool Speeds guys! Well, my SmartBro(ken) is now back. Seems that the base station is the one with the problems, and not my PC. Good thing! (And now, back to downloading torrents and playing online games...)

To all SmartBro(ken) users in Zamboanga: Are you guys experiencing very slow speeds? Just recently in the past few days, I've been experiencing slow speeds, I used to have speeds that reach 400kbps but now, I only have less than 150kbps. Could it be that SmartBro is undergoing maintenance?

are you using a router? if so, then try changing the settings in your router. m not sure if it will work though...

the base station is where you get your signal. umm, i am not exactly sure how they upgrade it but in my recent experience, when they upgraded the base station, my internet speed went really down. i guessed it was an updeate because the people in the other forums that smartbro is upgrading, and my internet speed really did went up after i got the connection problems. by the way, i experienced that problem for 5 days, i think, but now, internet speed is way up compared to before!

Hello!!! did you experience this only now? it could be that your base station is undergoing an upgrade. that thing happened to me too (i only got 30Kbps, imagine that!) but when the speed got fixed, i tried a test and, well... just take a look at the speed i posted

did anyone try to use high numbers (750-1000) in the upstream/downstram fields in the canopy settings?

did anyone try a high value (750-100) in the sustained uplink/downlink fields?
