    so far ito lng tlga top ko.. di ako umaabot ng 600 or more..

    hahayz i do the tweaks and cablenut.. im using canopy btw..

    is there any other solution to boost my connection up?

    Thats fine already.. its above the advertised 384 kbps anyway.. the lucky people who have speeds above 500+ has good (glitchy)  basestations.

  2. Its above average.. I think you should have made it funnier.....

    Like those people shaving his hair should have impersonated trump and austin (wigs, trashtalking, etc..) to make it more appealing.

    Mcmahon should wear a bandanna (not a towel) after the shave..

    It's pretty nice anyway..  :smiley:

    I think key to winning this contest is making some real funny sh^t..

  3. wow! i hope it will work for others too  :grin2:

    days from now i will post what i did to obtain the 600+ Kbps speed.

    for the meantime, me & the rest of the guys here will do our best to answer questions that will help speed up your smart bro.  :azn:

    When they first installed your canopy, did you always have speeds above 500+, 600+ ?Man, youre really lucky!! :-P

  4. You've got choice grifter, you have to climb.hehe :)

    hahaaaa. yes you are right @jun101ph! i was a little pre occupied of something lolz.

    so @ grift3r74, are you ready to climb to the roof?

    Cant do coz its too high!! :haha: :haha: :haha:

  5. yeah

    go to start - run - type cmd - then type ipconfig /all

    Its simple:

    Command Prompt

    Type ipconfig/all

    Your physical address is your Mac address

    Forget about climbing to your roof  :lol:

    Thanks!!

    @jun101ph

    Those Smartbro installers didnt give me the box.. I didnt know it  even comes with a box.. Well, thats another reason why to hate smartbro!!

  6. I have posted that topic before.

    First you are going to do is to have the MAC address of the Canopy.

    For example the mac address is 00:0C:F1:83:23:C7,

    next is to convert the last 3 hex numbers to decimal,

    83 ----> 131

    23 ----> 35

    C7-----> 199

    then the IP address of the canopy is 10.131.35.199

    . The 10 is added as the first number in the IP.

    To access the canopy,

    set TCP/IP to  the Obtain IP address and type 10.131.35.199 for the IP address and Submask: 255.0.0.0 ,

    Then access http://10.131.35.199 to the browser.

    Just curious.. Is there another way at looking at your mac address aside from climbing the roof and checking it? Like, can you see the address by just using the computer itself?

    Thanks!!

  7. Hello peepz, for me QuickFix from Smartbro-ken is a useless tool. You can ping by yourself the DNS servers as well as the Gateway, and the name of the software is very deceiving because it does not fix the internet connection problem. STUPID smartbro engineers!!!. It would just a waste of your harddisk space.

    Thats a good point!! :grin:

  8. i experienced the same thing few days ago... i think the quick fix might have caused it. might as well uninstall it...

    Im getting pretty scared of your posts...  :undecided: I better uninstall too. Looks like Quickfix 2 is really the problem.. I am going to revert to the old quickfix.

  10. In addition to my experience in using version 2 of Quick Fix, i would like to inform you guys that at the first time you run the version 2, you will be notified that your connection is set to static ip and you need to switch it to dynamic.

    And after you have done that, you will no longer be able to access your canopy. it will be locked.

    I guess it will be better to remain using the older version of QuickFix.

    Thanks!

    Im using Quickfix 2 and I wasnt notified about changing connection types.. I can still access my canopy..

    Thanks for the warning anyway.

  11. @grift3r74

    I have also the same experience you have in using the version 2 of Quick Fix.

    Everytime i use it to diagnose my connection, there is always the result of only 1 dns functioning among the 3 dns.

    Ideally, should the 3 dns be reached by our connection?

    Thanks!

    I really dont know since I installed quickfix 2.0 only a couple of days ago.. I hope somebody answers our question.. :buck2:

    Hey guys I have a question? Can Smartbro reach optimum speeds with just one DNS server functioning well? I've just dloaded Quickfix 2.0 and it seems the DNS servers have problems:

    DNS A STATUS: 0% loss

    DNS B STATUS: Unreachable

    DNS C STATUS: 100% loss

    Lately I'm having sluggish speeds.. never exceeding 250+. I understand if its raining hard, but now even if its clear skies, im still having net speed problems. :icon_pale:

    Now with the rainy season starting, I'm starting to hate wireless broadband...  :twogun:

    Does anybody know the answer? help please... :?: coz I'm still struggling with dial-up speeds for almost 3 days now..
