  3. I have these two cameras, 1 a bit better than the other one. One of them I plug in and it's auto-detect and I can view the cam right away, the better one I plug in, but I can't view the feed, and I don't have the driver, where can I find this driver? The camera is called v-eye3 or some, any ideas? - Tomer
  4. I have two webcams in my house, and I would like to connect them to other computers in my house and be able to view the feed from my main computer via the home wireless network. I can always remotely access the computer, and load the camera software via there and see the feed on the other computer [remotely], but than the other computer will see my viewing it, I would like to be able to view it without others knowing. Anybody got any ideas? I tried sharing the shortcut for the software via file share and opening it on mine, but didn't work, any other ideas? Thanks very much - Tomer
  5. I got RealVNC, it works so good! exactly what I need, thanks!
  6. Hello, We have a wireless network in our home for internet and file sharing [also printer sharing], so all the computers can sent files to print on the main computer. My question is that can we share sound drivers so all the wireless computers can control the music played on the main computer and that? Thanks - Tomer

Hey guys, I got two computers in the house, 1 is mine, 1 is my sisters, but she only uses ICQ so doesn't care about the computer specs. My comp: Pentium3 933MhZ 256 RAM Hers: Pentium4 1.6GHz 256 RAM I was thinking maybe I can switch the proseesser between the comps so mine would be faster, she doesn't care at all, how can this be done? Is it hard? - Tomer

  13. OK I guys, I bought a NIC card for around $10, installed it on the computer and now the internet is connected wired. And I put the wireless card on the other computer. Thanks a lot guys! It was very easy. Anything I should configure to increase speeds? - Tomer
  14. Ok, I re-read the whole thread, and now I understand everything. Thanks guys. One thing, how much would a NIC card cost, and are there different types of cards? Some better some worse? Thanks guys! - Tomer
  15. Yeah that's what I don't have, all I have is two USB ports + 1 regular phone connection [see attached image], what should I do? - Tomer
  16. Wht is PCI slot? If that is USB than I have 2 slots. How do I upgrade USB, is that a hardware issue, or software? - Tomer
  17. Hey guys, Ok Heres the situaution, we at first had regular ADSl, but we wanted to connect more than 1 computer at the same time, so we get wireless as we have 2 desktops + 1 laptop. I was planning o nplugging the main computer via cabel [LAN] and the rest would be connected with wireless cards, but the main comp doesn't have a LAN input socket in the computer [Pentium 3], so I'm using a wireless card for the main too. About the USB speed, can I upgrade it to USB 2.0, maybe that would help the signal? - Tomer
  18. @ Swimmer: Thanks for the tips, I tried all those channels, no difference, I also tried placing the router on the top of the oppisite side of the room [10 feet], still the same. @ S7R1D3R: After getting the router, I saw my computer didn't have a LAN input in the back of the computer, so must go wireless. Everytime I plug in my wireless card I get this message, maybe thats the problem? [see attachment] Thanks! - Tomer
  19. My wireless router is right next to the Wireless LAN adapater but I'm not getting 100% link quality, why is that? [see attachment] Thanks - Tomer
  20. Hello everyone, We just got a wireless home network. b-focus wireless 352+ is the router, and all the other computers are connected via USB to a little stick [WLAN?] to pick up the internet. We have 2 desktops with that, and 1 laptop that already has an internal internet thingy, so it can pick it up without anything. We were promised 1.5MB from our provider, and on the main computer that is the speed, but on the laptop it's VERY slow, only around 400kbps with the internernal, and a bit more [500-600] when it's connected to card. does that mean the external card is better than the internal card on the laptop? are there levels of cards? anotther thing, a compueter can be connected to the net via the router in 2 ways: wireless and direct [LAN], right? would a LAN connection on the main computer right next to the router be faster? thanks
