  1. @ sheldonjohnc. welcome to testmy.net

altho it is intended for smartbro, i am pleased you were able to successfully do the 20 steps on a bayantel connection to meet their advertised speed.

as you posted, you tested with speedtest, server of which is sponsored by your ISP here in the Phil. by that alone, i can say that test results on that website will be shown, of course, to their advantage. not just being a member of but because i trust this site for accuracy, i can say that TMN is the most reliable.

on your 2nd post, i suggest you try to use an MTU of 1300 which is suited for wireless connections.

  2. remember the procedures

    8.) Go back to http://www.j79zlr.com/cablenutXP2k.php

    9.)Click TCP/IP Analyzer

10.) Know your TCP Receive Window (RWIN) values, write down the values for "scale factor of 8" and "scale factor of 4".

jot the values down, did you?

15.) Open the CableNut setting you saved on your desktop.

16.) In the "DefaultReceiveWindow" box, change the current value to the value you wrote for "scale factor of 8"

17.) In the "DefaultSendWindow" box, change the current value to the value you wrote for "scale factor of 4".

good luck and may you read very very carefully the steps so you will not be lost.
