  1. To be honest, at the moment it seems slower then it was. . Maybe it still needs to be tweaked .
  2. Very cool. . I've noticed the site seems a tad faster .

  4. PostgreSQL, that's ok . I havn't installed it.
  5. That seems fine .s1! . Also, try out these ones Mindspring, what ever works best: Primary DNS: 70.84.217.98 Secondary DNS: 70.84.217.99
  6. I think he wants to know the IP addresses for them aswell.
  7. Thank you for testing from that connection! .
  8. Thanks for the testing guys (and girls if any?? ). . Appreciated.
  9. It would be nice if you could give us a portfolio of your work.... .
  10. They aren't with Level3. Level3 is just backbone provider for the route you take to that server. http://www.cybercon.com/tour.html Is who it's with. .
  11. And I think he was joking aswell.. .
  12. yeah that seems different. Wouldn't it be good to have that kind of upload at home.. . *Drool*.
  13. You said you were testing from a dedicated server right? I asume VSK.com is that sever? 14 197ms 196ms 202ms dist-vlan-42.dsr2-2.dllstx4.theplanet.com [70.85.127.91] <<< 15 201ms 199ms 215ms gig1-0-1.sm-car6-5.dllstx4.theplanet.com [67.19.255.18] <<< 16 197ms 208ms 205ms ns1.netsphere.com [67.19.107.82]
  14. Lol. Read what he said.. Them speeds are fine for a dedicated. . Most come standerd 10/10 Mbps so I'd say his is a 10/10 Mbps.
  15. Ok, well I've actually moved to another server, people will probably see similar resualts, I don't know... but I just got: :::.. Download Stats ..::: Connection is:: 7962 Kbps about 8 Mbps (tested with 20972 kB) Download Speed is:: 972 kB/s Tested From:: http://matrixau.net Test Time:: Bottom Line:: 142X faster than 56K 1MB download in 1.05 sec Diagnosis: Awesome! 20% + : 467.09 % faster than the average for host (net.au) Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-NZI6HMEVX And I'm in Australia.. .
  16. Well now, I've just proved you wrong in one thing.. . http://www.telstra.com.au/communications/media/mediareleases_article.cfm?ObjectID=33436 There's news for you. Your source of information isn't very reliable.
  17. Yeah, that's about right. I get nice pings to testmy.net though... Like very good for international: Pinging testmy.net [67.19.36.6] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 67.19.36.6: bytes=32 time=189ms TTL=47 Reply from 67.19.36.6: bytes=32 time=189ms TTL=47 Reply from 67.19.36.6: bytes=32 time=206ms TTL=47 Reply from 67.19.36.6: bytes=32 time=191ms TTL=47 Ping statistics for 67.19.36.6: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 189ms, Maximum = 206ms, Average = 193ms
  18. Yes. It does... . But that's just the unfortunate thing for living in Australia, It's a large island, most servers are international, so eveything has to go literally overseas.
  19. Lol, gaming is fine. . Locally I get anywhere from 5 ms - 15 ms pings ( Sydney servers, I live in Sydney, Australia). For instance: Pinging gamearena.com.au [144.135.23.52] with 32 bytes of data: Reply from 144.135.23.52: bytes=32 time=9ms TTL=57 Reply from 144.135.23.52: bytes=32 time=6ms TTL=57 Reply from 144.135.23.52: bytes=32 time=8ms TTL=57 Reply from 144.135.23.52: bytes=32 time=7ms TTL=57 Ping statistics for 144.135.23.52: Packets: Sent = 4, Received = 4, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 6ms, Maximum = 9ms, Average = 7ms (In gameing is higher of course.. but still very low).

  21. My upload's only 128 Kbps, haha. . Don't say yours is horrible. . But my download is 10 Mbps, crazy differance compared to upload speeds isn't it.. :shock. Which other sites do you use to test upload speed, it all depends on the route you go via to get to the testmy.net server in Dallas, Texas and congestion/latency/packet loss on the backbone links.
