Have you tried to tweak the connection with cable nut to fix the reg back to whare it was befor SP2. Anyways nice speeds though.

no PHP its not sopose to do that i never ever did this up in till a week ago. the status light would only blink when i downloaded or uploaded something. not all the time

when i unplug the cable internet line from it then it stoped but when i plug it back in right after its gets in downstreal/upstream frequence locked then it startes again.

even when i have no eathernet cables pluged into the modem it still does it.

no they should only blink when its downloading/uploading and becides this just started like a week ago, it never did this befor.

does anyone else on adelphia have some light always blinking on there cable modem. I do and so does my friend a few doors down from me. We boath have the status lightes blinking on the cable modems. It started about a week ago. If you have this happening please let me know so i know its not just us.

check your splitters in your house i had the same problme with adelphia and it turned out to be my splitter's you have to have 1000MHz and 6DB and a bidirectional splitter for it to work correct check this one out http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F003%5F010%5F001%5F000&product%5Fid=15%2D2587 i replaced all my splitters in my house with these and never had the problme again.

your right on with your cap at 1.5mb if you want more speed upgrade your package to the next plan i shure they have like a 3mb plan that will double your download speed.

the internt will be done by late setember, the cable tv will not be finshed till there done switching over all the adelphia customers to comcast or TWC.

no its not just gonna be a internet upgrade, its a hole system upgrade, Comcast and TWC have bought many new cable cable channels, the average person gets about a 70channels of cable TV comcast an TWC will rais that to 90channels with the new upgrades. They are basicaly ripping out all of adelphias stuff and putting in all new equipment to get more channels higher speeds and to bring digital cable to everyone.
