longhornguy09 to put it simple the 372kbps is what your connected at the 45kb/s is the max speed that you can upload at. Yes its a stupid way of doing it i agree, and the ISP's need to start advertising true speeds instead of connected at speeds.

I have a friend who its still on AOL, and for some reason lately he is only getting connecited at 15-20Kbps, so i tried to tewak the connection and now diff, so i called AOL tech support, and they say that they only offer 12Kbps, and that my speed is great. but thats B,S. is anyone else having this problem.
