hi Marlboro23 just wondering have u got the 6Mb package that would be a great speed if u got the 10Mb package there is still room for improvement maybe try speed testing against some european servers and post them here just-

dn0 yes you are right i was recently in china not in hong Kong at 1Gbps i was not fortunate enough to try that one out but i was in a town next to hong Kong and i had 3Mb connection and it wasn't to bad now 56k in Portugal is bad but Portugal is already offering 8Mbps adsl like some places in the UK which is a suprise for me and the cable company the main one is offering 8Mb cable also unfortunately i don't have that here is the speed result of more one speed test :::.. been using norton 2005 and so far so good except some script blocking and identifying the programs gave me some trouble apart from that all good i recommend AVG cause its free and i have tried not on this machine and it all good

i am sorry but there is nothing you can do about that satelite communications are famous for being slow specially on upload i don't know if u are connected via the military or u are some one from the press i don't want to know thats private but what i want to make it clear is that is very probably as good as it gets
