I tried others but they are slow and nero was and still is the fastest....i burned a 2:30 hour dvd Ffrom a 33 GB file' it took 1:45 minutes to encode and 7 minutes to burn using a 4.7GB 8X disc.. Nero is best for my needs...

Nero will do the trick!! well it all depends on how fast your computer is running and ofcourse how fast is your dvd drive.. 4X 8X 16X etc....

I Just went to limewire to download the beta version from there just to test my antivirus programs cause i know any antivirus program on a file sharing site is going to be infected .... after downloading i scanned the file with AVG pro and the file was clean then i scanned with Norton and picked up and deleted one trojan.. i tried different downloads and AVG never picked up anything while norton found and deleted five separate viruses.... im going to remove AVG n install Kaspersky Internet Security 2006

The most i have spent on a virus scan with any of the programs i have used was 45 minutes......

Ofcourse you get what you ask for........ im happy with norton cause it takes care of pop ups and when theres a virus it will ask me to block it or it will automatically do it for me'

Too many choices....... i have Norton system works 2005 Its has Norton internet security, anti virus etc.. i also have ad aware personal and spysweeper..... i only get viruse when i download a trojan filled program fro limewire or astalavista.com wich i don't visist anymore cause of too maany trojans on that site.

BTW is Avast Anti Virus.better than AVG and does Avast have internet security for ads and pop ups?

do you know anything or anyone reading this' about AVG proffesiona? i also have the free personal AVG

just the other nite i thought i had a virus cause my service was very slow for a few hours until i called and they told me they were having difficulties and it was rare cause it rarely goes down..

I See its like IE being attacked and everyone trying to or changing to Firefox or others...well i don't want to uninstall norton until i find a better program... i also have AVG professional but im not sure how good it is....

I have cable and ofcourse internet service with adelphia.... there has been times when i didn't pay my bill for two months and my IS got turned off but not my cable service.... sometimes my digital service would get turned off but not my IS its upto the provider i believe..... btw i have a dedicated line without splitters striaght to my modem having my cable tv on its own splitted lines for all TV's

What is wrong with Norton that everyone i know wants to get rid of? I had it on my computer since 2003 and it has never giving me problems or deleted files like other anti virus programs have... I know for a fact that it doesn't block all spyware,adware, viruses and when i do get infected and Norton won't get rid of it' i use AVG or log in into trend micro online free VIRUS scan and get rid of viruses there.. i know it runs like 8 processes n thats alot but until i can find a program that can block all ads and pop ups and all viruses i will keep Noron...
