well i cant say AVG is all bad but it did fail on me.... well when mine expires all i have to do is either pay or clear my files and registry and install it again.... it will give me another four months.

all i know is that AVG did me wrong without knowing it... i always trusted avg cause alot of people recomended that program to me..... but

The only thing missing now its a good pop up and ad blocker..... i miss not having those' im not sure if KV has those? does anyone know?

I uninstalled NIS along with NORTON SYSTEM WORKS without any trouble and all of it is nowhere to be found on my compuer..... I installed Kaspersky AV and personal firewall and let me just say that when i believed that i had a virus clean computer with NAV guess again i didn't..... I had 24 virus infections and a few trojans Wow i was impressed and realized how bad Norton is'

Thank goodness its fixed already..... i didn't know what to do with my lazy sunday time'

i would have to say NAV and its entire NIS check this out below why i its best for me.... all manual deletes were tests i was doing with infected files i downloaded intentionally... As you can see below how i get attacked and never get infected.... i run scans in safe mode too with ad-aware and spysweeper... does AVG Pro catch those? no not at all AVG is out the door for me.....

Im sure it was a trojan cause it said the name of the trojan too' yes my definations were uptodate.

i had AVG Pro but uninstalled it after it failed to catch a few trojans that i intentionally downloaded... when i tested with AVG it would say no virus found... then i would scan with NAV and presto a Trojan.... did the same test five times and AVG didn't pick up the virus...NAV ddid all five time.... NIS is best for my needs..

im happy with NORTON ( INS 2005 ) even if most of you disagree... i tried AVG Pro and Free versions and was not happy with those.... I haven't tried Avast but im willing to give it a try'

All i know is that more memebers need to get themselves here on the forums because it gets very lonely at times and theres no one to reply.... i know people get on the forums for different reasons but hey its a friendly and knowledgeable way to interact with othersp please login and participate.......
