Prices will come down alot in 6 months, plus the ATI Crossfire will be out, so check into that. And i think ATI will have another card to compete with the 7 series. I would also recommend buying an AMD FX-55. the 57 will cost a ton of money(even more than the 55). The 55 is a proven chip with a lot of over clocking capabilites plus its been out for a little while whereas INtel's 64 bit hasn't been out for too long.

Verizon FiOS and and Verizon Online DSL have the save host name for the most part(verizon.net) as more and more people get FiOS and do speed tests, the average gets higher. Since FioS runs a lot faster than DSL, the average is getting higher. As you say, just your percentage has gotten lower. That is not your fault, your line looks good, could be better but decent a 3/768 connection. Its the people running FiOS making your score look bad because the average speed is higher.

Just another quick question here:
Adelphia isn't upgrading the standard tier(4/384) when markets recieve the extreme upgrade. When Comcast takes over(my area anyway) will the standard tier then be upgraded to the 6/384?

Setup looks good, check out www.zuke.com for custom built computers with cool cases. I got a very good system there last year, for a little over $1,000. They have free shipping, 1 year support with replacement parts, they pre assemble everything and ship it out via 2 day air (free). Check it out, because i did a price check on all the parts i have in mine, i saved roughly $200 by buying it from them.

Not the best, but according to that i should be able to download at 397 kb/s. Yet, when I download something, I NEVER get more than 260 kb/s. I've done everything I could think of doing, I think it maybe a problem with my onboard NIC, so I tried a wireless link, my router and wireless nic were 4 inches apart and same result. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hmm... let me see here, I was in history class, when all of a sudden a new announcement came on to all teachers to turn on their tv's. Every teacher did and we watched what was happening in class. They kept us in our classes until 11:30 when they let us out. Oh, just a little food for thought, I live maybe, 5-7miles from the Flight 93 Crash Site.

put a new HD instead, certain agencies can still see what was on the harddrive even if you formatted it, so a new one would be the way to go, but damn, leave the Wi-Fi on? This guy isn't not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

I have the standard adelphia 4/384. I applied the 4/512 cuz the upload is closer to that than 384 but any help with the download would be great.

The actual caps should be something like that if your PPPoE to allow for that overhead and just for standard tcp/icp overhead.

hes testing a 100mbps connection overseas which is like, a lot of million of miles i think, so he wont get good speeds on a U.S. server, but his mirror, he gets 70+ and 90+ on the swedish miranda site.
