Here's the result from SpeakEasy: Last Result: Download Speed: 20045 Kbps (2505.6 kB/sec transfer rate) Upload Speed: 1467 Kbps (183.4 kB/sec transfer rate) I'm excited about the fast upload. I know the download is just PowerBOOST.
  2. Oh noes, I think the "PermaBoost" is gone. I just tried downloading the OOL FTP Test, and I ended up with speed starting to drop around 19 MB of the download, and continued dropping by approx. 10 KB/sec/sec.
  3. My caps from my modem. (Power-Cycled modem and clicked on page before it locked up). 4. I doubt it's FiOS, because the upload speed is too low to compete with it.
  5. Don't know about that.... Before, my speed would shoot up to 2+ MB/sec just until 25 MB of the file is done, and then the speed goes back down to around the 900 KB/s and eventually the 700-800 range.
  6. "PermaBOOST" definitely here. Maintained 3.1+ MB/sec throughout the download. News article about similar case.
  7. Exactly. That's what I'm suspicious about.
  8. Well at the same time... I'm confused about my Modem's signal levels.. Name WebSTAR DPC2100 Modem Serial Number xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Cable Modem MAC Address xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Hardware Version v1.1 Software Version v2.0.1r1135(dpc2100-v201r1135a.bin) Receive Power Level 0.0 dBmV (fluctuates around 0.0 and 0.1 dBmV) Transmit Power Level 32.8 dBmV Cable Modem Status Operational Is this ok?
  9. That was a jolt (the 4 MB/sec). It was mostly around 2.3 - 3.0.

  11. I was using Internet Download Manager for the above download screen shots. Does that count? Heres a test without using it (OOL 64 MB FTP Test): Downloaded using Internet Explorer (even though I use Firefox 2.01 as my default browser)
  12. Looks to me like it lasts the entire download.

  22. They actually doubled every package, except the last one. It is now 10/2, 20/5, 50,5, something like that.
