  7. That sucks you had to go through that with Dell. Glad you got it working OK now.
  8. Hey tommie, from reply #300 1962 Ford Seattle-ITE XXI I'm falling behind..LOL
  9. That's strange, I don't think I have ever seen anyone on Comcast go over their upload cap, either on the 384 or 768 , usually it's just below. But no matter, if anyone can do it that's great....
  10. If he's on the 6000/384 plan he's probably not going to get much better of an upload, only 7Kbps off cap.........
  11. coknuck........Took me forever to find this one. Studebaker-Packard built this terrific car called the Predictor, to show at the 1956 Chicago Auto Show to display ideas for possible future features on upcoming cars. It was a huge hit at the show, far more popular than other cars shown, and yet it was never intended for production and this is the only one ever produced. It was designed in built in only 90 days. The body is by Ghia. This one-of-a-kind car is on display at the Studebaker National Museum in South Bend, Indiana.
  12. tommie gorman....I think this is it .....1950 Lincoln ?
  13. Indestructable..... Not sure if you are still considering a new capture card or not ? But I'm with Swimmer on this one, If you have a free AGP or PCI-E X16 I would recommend one of the ATI All-In-Wonder cards they have a TV tuner some with the FM tuner, all the Inputs and outputs you need, IF Remote Control and bundled with some good software, also you would be upgrading your video card at the same time to be able to handle graphics better and better DVD playback. I have used several and they all have worked really good. Newegg has a few between $120-$200...
  14. Yeah...Looks like a cross between a Bentley and a Corvette.... But you got me on this one....just dunno..

  16. Well that was a hard one. I never would have got it if I hadn't seen it on the internet. 1957 Aurora Safety Car The Aurora Safety car was a creation of American catholic priest Alfredo Juliano. His design was not graced by the hand of God. Designed with safety for passengers and pedestrians the only concern, the Aurora's appearance was an afterthought. And the car has been hailed by many as the ugliest vehicle of all time. Safety features of this hideous creation include; saftey belts - rare in 1957, foam filled bumpers mounted on gas shocks, roll over bars built into the perspex dome roof, and a telescopic steering column. The Aurora's rounded windscreen was intended to eliminate the need for windscreen wipers.
  17. It's called Comcast Powerboost, and is still being rolled out, I'm in Michigan and we have it here, not sure if it has reached Cali yet. It just gives a burst of speed depending on the size file you are downloading. If you are on the 6000/384 plan it will burst the download to 12000 and the 8000/768 plan will burst to 16000. although we have been seeing even higher speeds than that.
  18. Sorry for that Sharky2006....I have used it for years and never had that problem.

  22. tommie gorman......I was just checking this out about an hour ago..1965 Cadillac Eldorado Fastback ?
