Bird Fan Posted January 2, 2006 CID Share Posted January 2, 2006 What happened to the Direcway ones? It doesn't even look like you've completed it... You should also make one for the 7000 for the consumer and pro accounts. There are a lot of users switching to the new modem. You should also think about making one for Wildblue. For Direcway: Consumer gets "up to" 700/128 Pro gets "up to" 1/

For DirecWay: Consumer gets "up to" 700/128 Pro gets "up to" 1/200 i did change the DW6000 files, made same settings for all DW 6000. It should work in the range of 0,5 to 1.5 Mbps downloadspeed. Since Sattelite is so much diffrent then other connections to tweak, i figured alot of ppl know how to use cablenut and make their own files by now, and share their good working settings with others. If you have a DW 7000 it wont hurt testing the DW 6000 settings, same goes for DW 4000. You can always finetune it afterwards. richcornucopia Posted January 7, 2006 CID Share Posted January 7, 2006 I can probably answer this for you: Yes if your cap changes, you will need a new cablenut file to tweak it correctly, like if ool upgrades you to 30/2. Edit:VanBuren is just too quick

Should I use the MTU 1480 file?? then your MTU is most likely messed up read router manual and see if you can set MTU, it should be 1492 on PPPoE VanBuren
