Sonu Posted February 14, 2006 CID Share Posted February 14, 2006 Ok, I have a old computer and I am thinking about upgrading the ram to 512 MB SDRam and buy a PCI graphics card, FX5500 (not the real one it is made by a different company) you can find it at http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143032 My computer specs are, P3 933 MHz 384 SDRam 60 GB Hard Drive No AGP and PCI-E slots 250 Watt Power Supply If i get the graphics card, my friend said it will not be able to work to its max because i have a slow processor, do you think i should just get a new computer or just upgrade this computer. I do not mind the speed of it right now, it runs very nicely but just not in video games.

RAINMAKA Posted February 14, 2006 CID Share Posted February 14, 2006 by the time you upgrade you could put that money towards a new computer
Swimmer Posted February 14, 2006 CID Share Posted February 14, 2006 Save the money! PCI isnt going to run at full speed.. I would instead turn it into a file server or donate it.
