VanBuren Posted December 20, 2004 CID Share Posted December 20, 2004 you have a MTU conflict Max packet sent (MTU): 1492 Max packet recd (MTU): 1472 this can happen if you mix diffrent tweaks. Do like this Uninstall all other broadband tweaks but Cablenut. after that reboot Now open cablenut adjuster, click delete cablenut tweaks + click save to registry reboot and run that tweak test again, then i can find out your real MTU VanBuren
xyther4523 Posted December 20, 2004 Author CID Share Posted December 20, 2004 cablenut was the only optimizer related thing i had installed for internet - i undid the tweaks, rebooted and here is the link to the /tweaks test http://ttester.broadbandreports.com/tweak/block:d076ae?service=dsl&speed=3000&os=win2k&via=normal thanks =)
MICROWAVE Posted December 20, 2004 CID Share Posted December 20, 2004 Those look like mostly default settings except for your MTU not being set at the correct value, and that may be the biggest part of your problem.........and your rwin Microwave

MICROWAVE Posted December 20, 2004 CID Share Posted December 20, 2004 How would I change those? Does it have any real affect to my connection speed? thanks =) xyther4523"], Absolutely, a default systems speed will change drastically with just a few tweaks, for instance I just formated and reloaded my system recently and, my speed over doubled with just those few changes.........when a system is set up correctly doubling speed is not uncommon. good luck:) Microwave
