tlarm Posted March 30, 2006 CID Share Posted March 30, 2006 I've had Wimax for a little over a month and it works pretty good. Occasionally I have to reboot the modem but the speeds and ping times are awesome compared to the Wildblue satellite service I had. I live about 8 miles from the tower and have a small antenna on my roof. 2meg down/.5meg up and pretty reliable. Weather doesn't seem to affect it too much.
