ROM-DOS Posted April 29, 2006 CID Share Posted April 29, 2006 Dinosaur Shocker In a discovery that evokes the science fiction of Jurassic Park, a North Carolina paleontologist Mary Schweitzer has found soft tissue in a 68-million-year-old T. Rex bone. Schweitzer, one of the first scientists to use the tools of modern cell biology to study dinosaurs, has upended the conventional wisdom by showing that some rock-hard fossils tens of millions of years old may have remnants of soft tissues hidden away in their interiors. tommie gorman Posted April 29, 2006 CID Share Posted April 29, 2006 Heck of a find. Next thing you know(as much as I am against it) they might clone one. It would make for a nice watch dog.
gotmilk Posted April 29, 2006 CID Share Posted April 29, 2006 Next thing you know(as much as I am against it) they might clone one. They better not! We don't want any chance of dinosaurs dominating again. If one team of scientist clones one, other teams will follow suit, and that's too much of a risk.
