Mystik_MDS Posted May 3, 2006 Author CID Share Posted May 3, 2006 I dont really know what was wrong with the modem, however I did keep noticing this error in my modem logs 2006-04-13 19:08:37 3-Critical R02.0 No Ranging Response received - T3 time-out
netmasta Posted May 4, 2006 CID Share Posted May 4, 2006 If everything seems ok, than you can ignore those messages. By the way, that error message is dated 4/13/06.
Mystik_MDS Posted May 4, 2006 Author CID Share Posted May 4, 2006 I know, didnt have a newer copy of the error message, this was just one that I saved to my computer to show the tech who came out to my house. I've noticed it for a while, and then one day was talking to a tech and he said that its the modem thats not able to "range" whatever that means... So it lead me to believe that my modem was bad so I promptly replaced it and now I'm back up to speed
