FiosFiend Posted May 25, 2006 CID Share Posted May 25, 2006 So I'm playing COD2 and start noticing some weird artifacts on the screen. I shut down the came and try playing BF2 and get the same thing. I was funny because the games played fine for about the first 5 minutes. This led me to believe that I was having some kind of graphics card problem. My first instinct was that it might be an overheating problem but I installed the latest drivers first. However, the problem persisted. I cracked open the case and sure enough my fan on the video card is dead. I'm going to use this as an opportunity to upgrade. What do you guys use / recommend? I was thinking Geforce 7600GT. I can get into this for under $200 which is about the top of my budget for a new card. So....what say you?
