resopalrabotnick Posted August 4, 2006 CID Share Posted August 4, 2006 it's the 300000 govewrnment employees streaming porn all day at work. cut them by 150000 and there will be enough bandwidth to the island for the rest of us to stream porn all day. DiRt DeViL Posted August 17, 2006 CID Share Posted August 17, 2006 I was a prtc dsl customer, the lag, latency and crappy customer service was the reason for changing to cable. In my area, we didn't experienced many dsl outages but when we did it will take weeks to repair and calling the help desk to inquire was a waste of time. You'll get "they're working on it" excuse and no additional information, the good thing is that they gave a credit for the downtime. Since moving to cable I've 3m for downloads (tested here), excellent for on line gaming and downloading torrents. I also have to say that they do have problems but their customer service and technicians are a lot better and faster than prtc ever was.
