Hughes.net/Direcway Upload Speeds.

Recommended Posts

I used satspeed, here is a link to where I got it but you have to subscribe to this sight to get it, if you don't want to or dont already have a subscription then try googling it and see if you can get it elsewhere, it worked fine for me, not sure about your vista though. Running XP pro myself. http://www.copperhead.cc/satspeed.htm

I hope you can download it and it works for you, like I said, I dont have any idea why exactly it works with a self hosted system but it made a big difference for me. I just set jmy plan and whatever it asked for and then clicked the DW7000 modem button on the screen and it auto set everything for me and that was it. Good luck.

Hmmm, I did have to wait a couple of days for them to reply with my username and password for downloads, I sent them an email and within a few hours I had gotten my email. I didn't know anyone else had had trouble there, it is well worth the money but maybe not if they are not giving you access. there are alot of installers and troubleshooters in thier forums so once you are in it is great. Just have to wiegh the risk for yourself I guess.

I've forgotten my password for satspeed a couple of times.  Everytime I asked to be reinstated, it happened that night.  No problems with those guys here.
