Shug7272 Posted July 10, 2006 CID Share Posted July 10, 2006 I use Firefox with the forecastfox enhanced plugin. So I have the weather in the lower right hand corner of my browser and if I hold the mouse over my lil radar icon a screen pops up that looks just like this. http://sirocco.accuweather.com/sat_mosaic_640x480_public/rs/isarTXW.gif So I want to make this animated up to date image my screensaver in full screen mode. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated.
dlewis23 Posted July 10, 2006 CID Share Posted July 10, 2006 i don't think your going to be able to do that, because you would have to remake the screensaver file everytime that radar image got updated. there is no piratical way to do that. cholla Posted July 10, 2006 CID Share Posted July 10, 2006 Shug7272 ;I'm not sure what you want to do.Are you looking for a live radar that is a screensaver? or an animated image that looks like a live radar? I don't know if I could find the first one but I bet there is a way to put a animated image in the screensaver if that is what you want to do.It would be the same animated .gif like any other animated .gif. Shug7272 Posted July 10, 2006 Author CID Share Posted July 10, 2006 Cholla, I want a live radar of the weather in my area that comes on as a screensaver. I have found a few but they are low budget crappy and some you have to pay for. Any help is appreciated.
