starship_troopers Posted July 12, 2006 CID Share Posted July 12, 2006 i had a thread about this so heres some questions. how are you going to set up the dual monitors...with a dual head graphics card or do you have a cable that splits for 2 monitors? dlewis23 Posted July 12, 2006 CID Share Posted July 12, 2006 no you dont have to have both set as the same resolution. and you can run a differnet app on each monitor.

php Posted July 13, 2006 CID Share Posted July 13, 2006 Another thing to note.. some fullscreen applications (games, etc...) will lock the cursor into their window, so you can't access the other desktop while you're running that program. Media Center is one that does this and it really irritated me...

Media Center is one that does this and it really irritated me... that and some games, especially alot of FPS, they allow the mouse to go over to the other monitor when your in full screen, so if you move the mouse over and click instead of shooting it will minimize the game. php Posted July 13, 2006 CID Share Posted July 13, 2006 By all means, do it if you can and want to. It's extremely nice IMO, especially when I'm working on projects or websites...
