gotmilk Posted August 30, 2006 CID Share Posted August 30, 2006 For 56 K, that's not terrible. I have friends who get 22 Kbps and below with "56 K".

tommie gorman Posted August 30, 2006 CID Share Posted August 30, 2006 Man from portugal clear over here, not bad at all. Have you been using cholla's tweaks?
cholla Posted August 30, 2006 CID Share Posted August 30, 2006 tommie ;He might want to start with Rom-Dos's tweaks since they are for XP.But I would help anyway I could.Personally I think all dial-up has slowed a bit. They are running so much data through phone lines now.Even if DSL is a different frequency .My ISP & the phone company say I should get about 28K for my max at 26529 feet from the CO.I almost always do better than that.
