Hey all,

I am in the process of revamping a network setup, and I was wondering if, instead of using a bridge, I can use a crossover cable between two hubs, as long as their uplink ports are turned off.  From what I understand, it is the same, but I'm not positive.  I want to make sure before I go making a crossover cable.  thanks,

DEAR,

USING CROSS OVER CABLE IS LIMITED TO CONNECTING TWO DEVICES DIRECTLY WITHOUT CONTROLING THE NETLINE ( PRIORITY OR DELAY OR OTHER EVENTS IN THE NET  THANKS

To clarify, a crossover cable is used to connect 2 "like" devices,  such as 2 computers, or 2 routers directly.  In the case of a hub, you can use a straight through cable just fine.
