cable_guy Posted September 13, 2006 Author CID Share Posted September 13, 2006 :::.. testmy.net test results ..::: Download Connection is:: 3699 Kbps about 3.7 Mbps (tested with 5983 kB) Download Speed is:: 452 kB/s Upload Connection is:: 496 Kbps about 0.5 Mbps (tested with 1013 kB) Upload Speed is:: 61 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net (Server 1) Test Time:: 2006/09/12 - 9:31pm D-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-3FIJ9MLD0 U-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-O1879T0SE User Agent:: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; SV1; .NET CLR 1.1.4322; FDM) [!] i dont know why i get lower scores here, my upload shows up better, but my dl is worse, i can usually get like 4500-4600Kbps while testing here, but i cant right now for some reason.. maybe net congestion? i already did the tcp optimizer, and cablenut, both are set for settings optimized for 5000Kbps connection. Swimmer Posted September 13, 2006 CID Share Posted September 13, 2006 That could be.. If you live in washington.. they you are going to get a higher speed. It all depends on where your traffic is being routed to...

kvnband Posted September 14, 2006 CID Share Posted September 14, 2006 they're sending a guy out tomorrow because a phone call didn't resolve anything...However, looking at the modem, the signal to noise ratio is very very low (below 30) and the power level is -19db....... Hopefully the visit will solve the issue..
cable_guy Posted September 14, 2006 Author CID Share Posted September 14, 2006 yup, they are within 100-200 Kbps of each other every time.
