tommie gorman Posted November 8, 2006 CID Share Posted November 8, 2006 What all is running in your background. Either click the Ctrl+Alt+Delete key, or start*run*type msconfig into the box*enter*startup tab* All I have is AVG free AV* AVG anti spyware* and Windows Defender. All the rest waits for prompts. Also aids in start up time. Or if you are handy try these. *** Performance Tuning *** http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-9452 * More XP Tweaks * http://www.testmy.net/forum/t-10264 Don't worry about the dial up part, it works on all comp's.
