dn0 Posted December 29, 2006 CID Share Posted December 29, 2006 I have Sprint's EVDO service on my work notebook. I have the Merlin S620 card, and my average speeds are around 500 kbps, so I agree, not bad. It all depends on signal strength and location. I know of a few spots in town where I get slower speeds most likely due to traffic at that particular cell site. The fastest I ever see is 1 to 1.5 mbps. Not bad for a totally portable service.
