I guess that's good. What they will say if I call during peak time. Well lets check your modem signals and ping. They say wow looks great, don't see why you would have a problem. It's probably becuase all of the people on your node. Can you send a tech out? Not of your internet is working properly
tommie gorman Posted January 13, 2007 CID Share Posted January 13, 2007 I would think I would want them to want to send out one. You have to threaten Dway-hughes to get one almost. A quick dumb one dlewis, you have done maintenance lately as of cleaning? I know, normal doctor exam questions. Now bend over and... But really with that new one, have you? I don't have to do any maintenance ever My neighbor is also having the same problem too, so its gotta be something that bellsouth is doing. tommie gorman Posted January 14, 2007 CID Share Posted January 14, 2007 So MAC is that free time wise. NO maintenence? Why aren't they more poplar? Just curious.
dlewis23 Posted January 14, 2007 Author CID Share Posted January 14, 2007 So MAC is that free time wise. NO maintenence? Why aren't they more poplar? Just curious. they use to cost more and were slower when they used the IBM power PC processor. but since they switched to intel they are among the fastest computers you can buy, the Mac Pro is the fastest computer you can buy. They are selling much more now, faster then most PC's since you can run windows on them also, so you get the best of both worlds.
tommie gorman Posted January 14, 2007 CID Share Posted January 14, 2007 I'll have to think about that...you know that sounds lazy, don't you? Just thought it sounded funny. But it also sounds too easy.
dlewis23 Posted January 14, 2007 Author CID Share Posted January 14, 2007 I'll have to think about that...you know that sounds lazy, don't you? Just thought it sounded funny. But it also sounds too easy. the only thing you would ever have to do, is check your permissions ever once and a while, and it will tell you when to. its a far better OS, and it looks a hell of alot better then windows too
tommie gorman Posted January 14, 2007 CID Share Posted January 14, 2007 OK. What about inside changes? Is ram different to change than a normal (for nothing better to call it) desktop? ( Video etc...)

( Video etc...) it all used normal standard off the shelf PC parts, nothing is special there.
