TimPawlak Posted January 22, 2007 CID Share Posted January 22, 2007 if i were you, go with amd fx or x2 ... i'm a amd fan... just like don is an intel fan =) i belive its all a matter of opinion.. just like an AMD 3200+ 2 ghz can kill a Intel P4 3.2 ghz... dlewis23 Posted January 22, 2007 CID Share Posted January 22, 2007 after looking it over again, i would go with this video card over the one you have http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16814143080

Buntz Posted January 22, 2007 CID Share Posted January 22, 2007 The whole system looks great. The only thing I can think to change is to go with the Intel E 6600 Conroe and save your self 193.99 US dollars.[do not know what the rate exchange is]. With the parts you are buying you can easy overclock it pass the 2.66 GHz of the E 6700 Conroe. From what I read the Conroe love overclocking. Just buy a good after market CPU cooler. Buntz Posted January 22, 2007 CID Share Posted January 22, 2007 The hot fans right now seem to be the Zalman CNPS9500 or one of the Scythe SCMNorSCNJ series. They are big fans,so make sure they fit in your case and don't hit the power supply. I have not use either of these fans, but I do use a Zalman CNPS 7700-CU on one of my computer for a year now with no problems. I would highly recommend it. The CPU stay cool and the fan is quiet. coknuck Posted January 22, 2007 CID Share Posted January 22, 2007 I use this fan and I think CA3LE does also. I have a P4 3.2 prescott and at idle it runs aroun 29c full load around 35c. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835186134

Buntz Posted January 23, 2007 CID Share Posted January 23, 2007 Tuniq Tower 120 seem to be another hot CPU heatsink/fan with the overclocking crowd it $59.99 US ,but a lot of people like it. It another huge heatsink/fan that you are going to have to make sure it fit in your case.
