Blako Posted March 13, 2007 CID Share Posted March 13, 2007 San Diego February 2, 2005 Starting yesterday, Time Warner increased the speed of its standard service to 5 megabits per second, from 3 megabits per second. Its premium service increased to 8 megabits per second, from 6 megabits per second. Prices remain the same. Time Warner, whose service is available in the northern part of San Diego, in Coronado and parts of Poway, offers its most popular Internet service, the 5 megabits-per-second connection, including a modem, for $44.85 a month. retiredat44 Posted May 12, 2007 CID Share Posted May 12, 2007 This information is wrong. I live in San Diego County. I get about 3600/360 maybe you copied it off their website, but it is full of lies. I have TW/RR and have talked to them over the packages just a week or two ago. There are no changes. I have both Cable TV and RaodRunner Internet with them. I was transfeerred from Adelphia Cable to TW/RR late last year in the takeover. :::.. testmy.net test results ..::: Download Connection is:: 3618 Kbps about 3.62 Mbps (tested with 5983 kB) Download Speed is:: 442 kB/s Upload Connection is:: 364 Kbps about 0.4 Mbps (tested with 579 kB) Upload Speed is:: 44 kB/s Tested From:: https://testmy.net (Server 1) Test Time:: 2007/05/12 - 4:50pm D-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-VGLUNYX83 U-Validation Link:: https://testmy.net/stats/id-BRTLO3F5J User Agent:: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 5.1) [!] we pay a total of $115.00 per month. it includes TW Cable TV with digital package, box and RoadRunner Internet.
