ajb62787 Posted February 23, 2007 CID Share Posted February 23, 2007 use DVD Shrink http://www.dvdr-digest.com/software/dvdshrink.html#downloads if you have a single layer DVD Burner. Depending on the computer itself , you can convert an 8.5GB DVD to 4.7GB (4484MB) I think in about 35 minutes on a fast new computer or 1 1/2 hours on a slow computer. And there is a feature on there that lets you burn the converted DVD that actually uses just a little less quality than a normal DVD that you get for rental or from the store but its still very good quality. Shug7272 Posted February 23, 2007 CID Share Posted February 23, 2007 Yea dvd decrypter and dvd shrink are great. Or they used to be, I havent used them in a long time. http://www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/ I use Nero to burn the image myself.
coknuck Posted February 23, 2007 CID Share Posted February 23, 2007 DVDFab Decrypter works better with the newer movies. I use it now instead DVD Decrypter. DVDFAB Decrypter is from the same out fit. http://www.softpedia.com/get/CD-DVD-Tools/CD-DVD-Rip-Other-Tools/DVDFab-Decrypter.shtml
Guest PeePs Posted February 23, 2007 CID Share Posted February 23, 2007 I personally prefer Nero, because not only cause you convert DVD's but if you have some files in Xvid or Divx u want to play on a DVD player it will do that in 1 click with great quality.
