When I do a speed test where the server is close to me (in my case NY is the closest) I get speeds like this but when I do a test say in texas I get about 8Mbps down..Now I know its not cache beacause sometimes I do download at 2MB/s. Im suppose to get 6Mbps down 800Kbps up..Could the speed burst feature cause this?

Here is another score from a different speed test site

the reason for this is Comcast's Speedboost..  You are testing with a really small file.. If you test with a bigger file you will get a more accurate result which is how the Dallas main servers for TMN are setup.. If you go to fast though the test then the test size it increased to get an accurate test..
